Chapter Sixty
A milestone without a theme

Sixty deserved something quieter than a theme.
For a 60th birthday at Hyatt New Delhi, the intention was celebratory but composed. Instead of building around a literal theme, the room was treated like an elegant evening chapter — polished, personal and warm.
Ivory florals, crystal, candlelight and amber illumination created depth across the tables. Repetition brought formality; softer, asymmetrical floral moments kept the room from feeling ceremonial in the corporate sense.
The design allowed the milestone to feel important without losing the ease of a family celebration.
Classic becomes personal through proportion and light.

- Milestone
A refined hotel ballroom transformed through tonal florals, reflective detail and warm pools of light.
The 60th birthday was held at Hyatt New Delhi, around the poolside and its gardens. The evening was designed to be seen at night, with reflections on the water as part of the composition.
- 01
A wall of candles
Open shelving filled with candles became the backdrop to the main lounge, behind cream sofas on a black-and-white chequered floor.
- 02
Lanterns in the trees
Paper lanterns hung at different heights from the trees, carrying the light up and out across the garden.
- 03
Clouds of white
Baby’s breath, white roses and tall candelabras kept the palette ivory, so the candlelight could supply all the warmth.

- Draped pavilions reflected in the pool
- Mirrored cubes and pillar candles at the entrance
- A welcome sign in warm, layered tones
- Cream lounges with table lamps and soft cushions
